Summer Programs
June 10-August 2, 2019
Summit proudly offers academic camps, themed camps, and healthy life & recreation camps for eight weeks during the summer for PreK-8th grade students. Summit's camps are known in the community for their high-quality programming, with more local partnerships and STEAM-based themes than ever before! Summit camps are kept small to provide an optimum learning environment.
Summer programs are open to all children in the Cedar Rapids metro area and enrollment is OPEN.

New in 2019:
-
NewBoCo has provided their popular and sought after STEAM-based curriculum exclusively to Summit.
We would like to share a few tips and tricks to make registration easier:
-
A one-time registration fee for all students is $25.
-
Register your child based on the grade they will be entering in the 2019/20 academic year.
-
Students who are registered for a morning and afternoon camp within the same week are invited to stay for FREE supervised lunch and recess between 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Students should bring a sack lunch that does not require heating or cooling. Please note that lunch is not provided and students must be registered for both a morning and afternoon camp.
New in 2019: Register for the complimentary "Lunch Session" those weeks during online registration. If you don't register for this service, this option will not be available for your child(ren).
-
Before and after camp extended day care for students is available through pre-purchase only. This is also considered a “Session Option” (listed within the session) of Online Registration.
**All extended day care MUST be pre-purchased.-
AM Extended Day Care 7:15-8:30 a.m.: $26.00/week
-
PM Extended Day Care 3:30-5:30 p.m.: $42.00/week

In case of an emergency, “Drop-ins” will only be accepted if spots are available in accordance with DHS guidelines and must be paid for upon drop-off or pick-up.
-
There are NO CAMPS Thursday, July 4 in honor of Independence Day.
-
Half of total summer tuition is due upon registration. The other half will be auto-billed May 13, 2019.
-
Registrations completed after May 13 will be charged in full.
-
Camps will be confirmed the week of May 6. Notice of cancelled camps (due to insufficient enrollment) will be sent to the e-mail provided during registration. Camps cancelled by Summit will be refunded in full.
-
Waitlists are held until enough registrations have been collected to open an additional section(s) and staffing has been secured.
-
Cancellations made prior to confirmation letters being sent home (the week of May 6) are nearly refunded in full. Summit will retain 5 percent of your total registration costs (this covers the cost we incur for online registration). After confirmation letters have been sent, refunds are issued at 50 percent of the total registration. NO REFUNDS are issued after May 27, 2019.
-
Registration for camps is open until the Wednesday before the summer camp start date (subject to availability) - so it's not too late to join in on the fun.
